The Gorge biogeographic stratum includes Lower Columbia watersheds in Oregon upstream of the Sandy River to the Hood River. There are a total of 3 independent populations in the stratum.
Oncorhynchus kisutch
Abundance
Annual estimates of the abundance of naturally-produced spawners for each stratum.
Inadequate number of surveys conducted in Lower Gorge Tributaries.
2020
No AUC estimate for independent populations due to significant budget reductions in 2020. Reliable population estimates were not possible due to the low number of survey sites. Abundance provided in 2020 are counts of fish passed at counting stations and spawning ground surveys in the Clatskanie population and Cascade Strata only.
